A trip is your complete travel itinerary. It covers everything — from your outbound flight, return flight, and any number of connecting flights. Even if you’re only flying one way, that’s still counted as 1 trip.

Airline compensation is the money from the airline to make up for the delay or cancellation of an international flight that’s covered by EU or other regulations.
